In the GETS environment, the Resource Units in the EUC and Service Desk Tower cover the operational cost of break/fix services, end point management, and both hardware and software install, move, add, change (IMAC) actions for a variety of central campus and remote desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers. The GETS Service Desk is the single point of contact for all infrastructure and managed network service impairments and ID administration services, including:
- GETS service interruptions and incident reporting
- Inability to access the Internet or a specific application
- EUC service impairments (e.g. laptop or telephone not working).
- Password resets
