GETS Service Integration

Service Integration is making it possible to quickly introduce new and innovative IT services through the Georgia Enterprise Technology Services (GETS) program. As a result, GETS customer agencies are able to benefit more easily from advances in the IT marketplace and better meet their changing needs.

Capgemini is the Multisourcing Service Integrator (MSI) for the GETS program and coordinates the delivery of technology services to state agencies by multiple service providers.

An important part of Service Integration involves a new approach to contracting for and delivering managed network services. Instead of relying on a single service provider, GTA conducted procurements for separate contracts covering data, voice, cable and wiring, and conferencing. The procurements were completed in 2016.

In addition, GTA is currently re-procuring IT infrastructure services, which include end-user computing, servers, storage, mainframe, and print. The current contract expires in 2017, and proposals are being accepted only from contractors who successfully completed a pre-qualifying process in 2016.

Questions about our procurements should be emailed to the GTA Procurement and Contracts Office at procurement@gta.ga.gov.
