2015

Three of the state's IT leaders are honored by StateScoop. Calvin Rhodes, state CIO and GTA executive director, is named State Executive of the Year, Steve Nichols, Georgia's Chief Technology Officer, receives a State Leadership award, and Nikhil Deshpande, Georgia's Chief Digital Officer, is named a State Up and Comer.

2014

Georgia earns a letter grade of A- in the 2014 Digital States Survey. Only three states receive grades higher than Georgia's.

The Center for Digital Government ranks Georgia among the top five states in the nation for its use of technology in support of health and human services.

The University System of Georgia's integrated learning platform, called GeorgiaVIEW, receives a first-place award in NASCIO's State IT Recognition Awards.

2013

The University System of Georgia's online information repository, called The Point, is named a finalist in NASCIO's State IT Recognition Awards.

2012

The I-85 Express Lanes project from the State Road and Tollway Authority is named a finalist in NASCIO's State IT Recognition Awards.
