Registration open for 2020 Georgia Virtual Digital Government Summit

Registration is now open for the 2020 Georgia Digital Government Summit, an annual event for both IT and business leaders from state and local governments. It will take place on Thursday, October 8 (9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m.) and Friday, October 9 (9-11 a.m.) in a virtual format on Zoom for Government. There is no charge for public-sector employees to attend.
To register online and view the schedule, visit the summit website.
The summit provides opportunities to learn and share information about new technologies and trends and their implications for government. Three sessions will examine the impact of new issues, technologies, and regulations:
- How the Crisis Has Changed Us - Teri Takai, Co-Director, Center for Digital Government
- Framework for the Near Future - Phil Bertolini, Co-Director, Center for Digital Government
- Dawn of a New Decade - Dustin Haisler, Chief Innovation Officer, e-Republic
Author, peak performance coach, and Hall of Fame speaker Dan Thurmon is the keynote speaker. In his presentation, Off Balance and In Control, he will encourage harnessing the positive aspects of disruption, finding more confidence in the midst of change, and taking purposeful actions to create what is most needed - both in life and in virtual work.
In addition, state and local government agencies will be recognized for their technology achievements with the presentation of the annual Georgia Technology Innovation Showcase awards, and as always, the summit will include breakout sessions as a chance to dig a little deeper on a handful of key topics.
