Registration open for 2021 Georgia Virtual Digital Government Summit

Registration is now open for the 2021 Georgia Digital Government Summit, an annual event for both IT and business leaders from state and local governments. It will take place in a virtual format on Thursday, September 9, from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., with a break for lunch. There is no charge for public-sector employees to attend.
To register online and view the full agenda, visit the summit website.
Headlining the agenda is author James Clear, whose work focuses on the science of small habits and how their effects multiply over time. His book, Atomic Habits, has sold over three million copies worldwide and topped both the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists.
Featured speaker Heather McGowan will offer ideas about the future of work and the influence of managers and leaders who inspire and cultivate human potential amid constant digital disruption. A noted author and academic, she was named by LinkedIn as its number one global voice for education in 2017.
Panel discussions and general sessions will explore relevant topics such as enhancing the customer experience and building on "silver linings" discovered during the pandemic. As always, the summit will include breakout sessions as a chance to further explore key areas, including the cyber threat landscape, automation in government, cloud strategies, data sharing, and mobility and connectivity.
State and local government agencies will be recognized for their technology achievements with the annual Georgia Technology Innovation Showcase Awards.
