Georgia CISO Stanton S. Gatewood Receives Cybersecurity Scholarship
Georgia Chief Information Security Officer Stanton S. Gatewood is one of only three CISOs from states across the nation to receive the 2017 Thomas M. Jarrett Cybersecurity Scholarship from the National Association of State CIOs (NASCIO).
The scholarship carries with it an opportunity to contribute to a national dialogue on cybersecurity and related issues during NASCIO’s national conference in Austin, Texas. The other two scholarship recipients are Pennsylvania CISO Erik Avakian and Illinois CISO Kirk Londom. The scholarship honors Thomas J. Jarrett and recognizes his passion for cybersecurity. Mr. Jarrett served as NASCIO president from 2004-2005.
