Projects plan and execute enterprise-wide technology-related initiatives that transform government operation and services.

Information Communications Technology Innovations
Projects leverage communications technologies to transform government, promote economic development or interoperability, or improve quality of life.
Examples: GIS, mobile services, SAAS, broadband applications, online learning, telecommunications
Technology Innovation Showcase
The 2024 showcase honorees are trending toward new levels of service delivery thanks to their exemplary IT-enabled initiatives.
Five projects and the teams behind them are being honored:

- Re-imagining Driver Services: Georgia Digital Driver's License and ID in Apple and Google Wallets - Georgia Department of Driver Services

A volunteer evaluation panel selected projects that enable agencies to better serve constituents, operate efficiently, and conserve tax dollars. These are projects changing the way government does business.
Projects selected for this 13th annual showcase will be recognized at the 2024 Georgia Digital Government Summit in October.
Project Categories
Eligibility
- Open to Georgia state and local government entities
- Person submitting nomination must have a government email address
- Projects implemented within the past two years
- Projects must be state- or locally focused, not federal
- Multi-agency projects are encouraged
- Project may be a phase of a larger initiative
- Projects previously named as showcase honorees may not be resubmitted
- Nominations must be submitted online
