Open Records Requests

The Georgia Technology Authority is committed to conducting business in a manner that complies with all legal requirements, fosters citizen confidence in state government, and promotes efficient and effective governmental operations. We recognize the importance of communicating information to citizens and other interested parties and will cooperate in supplying requested public records.

The Georgia Open Records Act establishes the right to inspect and/or receive public records, excluding those records that are specifically exempted by court order or law.

To inspect and/or receive public records, please email your request to [email protected]. Be sure to include complete contact information and a full description of the records you are requesting. Please be as specific as possible.

After we receive your request, we will notify you within three business days if there are records responsive to your request and if the records requested are subject to release. The response will be provided in written format and will be sent via email when possible.

Some records are not readily accessible. In these instances, a timeline will be provided as to when the records will be available. Occasionally, there may be costs associated with searching, retrieving, copying, redacting, and/or supervising the inspection of requested documents. If there are any costs involved, you will be notified in the initial response to your request.
