Mr. Aluri ensures that service levels for GETS technology services are maintained and continually improved and problems with the daily delivery of services are minimized. He works closely with GTA, state agency, and service provider leadership to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions that adhere to statewide enterprise standards and meet agency business needs. Mr. Aluri also oversees quality of service, customer satisfaction, and planning and forecasting of service consumption.

For more than 30 years, he has provided enterprise technology services in both the public and private sectors. Mr. Aluri has built broad IT knowledge in a career featuring roles with Unisys, PeopleSoft, a high-tech startup, i2 Technologies, and GTA. He has held leadership positions in applications development, enterprise architecture, infrastructure management, professional services, and customer relationship management.

Mr. Aluri joined GTA and state government in 2002 and later served as CIO for the State Accounting Office (SAO) before returning to GTA. Prior to becoming COO, he served as GETS integration and services officer. Mr. Aluri has been a part of the GETS program since its 2009 debut and even participated in the GAIT 2010 initiative that led to the creation of GETS.

He is a mechanical engineer, holding a master's degree in industrial engineering and management from the Asian Institute of Technology. Mr. Aluri is also a certified enterprise architect and Oracle DBA.
