Purchases made under these contracts are for public use only.
These statewide convenience contracts provide wireless communications services, devices, related products and integration solutions for any state agency, city, county or other political subdivision of the state of Georgia as long as they agree to follow GTA’s procurement rules.
The four Wireless Services contracts offer numerous benefits, including:
- No activation fee
- No early termination fee
- Expanded coverage areas
- Compliance with E-Verify requirements
If your governmental entity was receiving services through one of GTA’s Wireless Services contracts before January 1, 2014, your service plan and pricing will remain the same unless you make a change to your service. All new services or changes to existing services, such as obtaining new smartphones or switching to different service plans, will be covered by the contracts with an expiration date of June 30, 2017.

Government employees who want to use their personal mobile devices for work-related purposes should contact their respective agency regarding policies and procedures.
If your entity is E-Rate eligible, please direct all questions to the representative listed below for your service provider.
These contracts comply with E-Verify requirements, and affidavits are on file at GTA.
State agencies must read the Office of Planning and Budget’s telecommunications policy before placing orders through these wireless contracts.
