The Enterprise Governance and Planning (EGAP) division of the Georgia Technology Authority provides a number of services to state agencies to enable them to plan, manage and deliver technology services to their constituents.
Our work falls into three primary focus areas:
- Policies and Standards – GTA is responsible by legislation for providing IT policies and standards for state agencies. We have created a framework based on IT industry and federal government best practices in security, technology infrastructure and project management.
- Training and Education – EGAP focuses on specific disciplines in security, business continuity, planning, and project and program management.
- Advisory Services – Through a highly experienced team of professionals, EGAP is able to consult with agency management on their specific needs and to help build and deploy plans to improve agency systems. We also have contractual relationships and access to research, expertise and services from many leading consulting and advisory firms.
