GETS Ready

The GETS Ready program provides access to contracts with a pool of GTA-qualified IT providers. These managed service contracts can accelerate technology procurements for most public entities in the state.

Customers may choose from a provider’s standard catalog of services or request custom quotes. These services are purchased directly from the providers instead of GTA, which qualified the pool of service providers and provides light governance over the contracts. Agencies negotiate directly with the provider and manage their relationship with the provider. GTA offers assistance but does not serve as a liaison between a service provider and an agency.

GETS Ready capitalizes on GTA's buying power to secure attractive pricing for customers. For most categories of service, contracts are available from multiple, competing providers.

Who can buy GETS Ready services? Georgia's public entities — such as city and county governments, public universities, boards of education, and agencies that are not part of the Georgia Enterprise Technology Services (GETS) program — can obtain services through GETS Ready.
